In a relaxed environment, Hayley from Bramley Pottery, will guide you through the process of making a trio of heart-shaped jugs with a beautiful patterned exterior - no previous experience is necessary.
On arrival, guests will have an opportunity to have tea, coffee and pastries and to meet the other members of the workshop.
This gorgeous set of three heart-shaped jugs will be made in three sizes. The finished pieces sit 8cm high and are 8.5, 6.5 and 5cm in diameter. They are multi-purpose pottery pieces and can be used as serving jugs for milk and cream, trinket pots, vases for flowers or simply displayed in your home.
Once your jugs have dried she will fire them in her kiln and then glaze them for you in a celadon colour of your choice.
The pottery journey takes time, so there will be a wait after the workshop to receive your pieces as this will allow time for them to dry, to be bisque fired, glazed and re-fired.
Once finished they can be collected from her studio in Ballinger, or they can be sent via courier (at an additional cost).
Make sure you bring an apron and messy clothing to the workshop, Hayley will provide all the tools you need to make your pottery.
This workshop accommodates 12 people.
