Perfect for those who want to experiment with pottery in the comfort of their own home, BramleyPottery@Home provides you with a high-quality Shimpo wheel, a bag of stoneware clay and all the tools you need to get started. With our convenient Potter’s Wheel Hire service, you can let your creativity flow and create unique pieces that will be sure to impress. Hire of equipment is available from 1 day to 5 days at a time. Terms and Conditions of Hire • The potter’s wheel will be available for pickup from Bramley Cottage at 10am on the first day of the rental. • Proof of identity and address will be required on collection. • The return of the equipment to Bramley Cottage will be no later than 9am on the day due for return. • A £100 refundable damage deposit will be charged at the time of booking. • Upon return of the wheel and equipment, after inspection of the rental items, the damage deposit will be returned if no damage has been sustained and all items have been cleaned. • In the case of damage to the rental items, repair costs will be sought from the renter. • The hire charge includes one bag of stoneware clay and tools for wheel throwing. • Pots thrown on the wheel can be fired and glazed (in a single colour) at an additional charge.
